We briefly met up with Roz, Nick & Chris (Roz’ Mum) in Tintern this weekend. All previous arrangements to spend some time in Falmouth with Roz & Nick had become complicated once Carol’s operation was postponed. So a brief meeting over a drink had to substitute as they were on their way to Hay On Wye. Chris’ dog Barney was with them – on the longest journey he has ever undertaken. It didn’t seem to affect him too much – still as exuberant as ever! I would have taken a photo of him if I had realised just how much various dogs would feature in the weekend.
We travelled on to Northleach in order to visit with Simon & Sheila. They have an eleven year old labrador called Dolly, and a new pup (thought to be a cross between a Lab and a Pointer) called Molly. She is a lovely pup – which Gwen was terrified of, inevitably. So here is Molly with Simon – Simon is on the left!

On the way home we popped in to see Clair & Scott’s new arrival, a Red Kelpie called Chimera. She is really beautiful, and smaller than I had expected. Gwen was still afraid of her though!
