My lovely wife is far from being innumerate! However, when it comes to her age she does something VERY strange. Now it has been known for women (and a few men) to subtract years from their age in order to live with a myth of themselves. Carol was born in 1952 (it’s not a secret!). Take 52 from 2009, and she has been reckoning that she has been 57 for the last year. Hmm?! No my love! You are now 57, and will not be 58 until next December.

I’m trying to figure out what is on the plates, it looks like Australian chicken breast in a tomatoey sauce? I say Australian because they look bigger than normal UK size – they have super chickens over here, you’ve never seen such humungus breasts!

Nonie – HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my best Auntie !!! It’s in my diary for next year – that is, if you want to be reminded about it. There is always plenty of room here (until we move that is. Nothing happening at the moment)- so you and anyone who wants to stay will always be welcome. I’ll even act as a chauffeur when ever you need it.
