Just a quick shot. Gwen has at last had her Summer haircut. She really is finding the heat difficult, and doesn’t have the brains to find the coolest place in the house. Chris & John are doing the ‘baby-sitting’ while we are away, so this skinhead cut will hopefully assist with Chris’ allergy to dog hairs as well. We really must train Gwen to sit in a more ‘lady-like’ manner though.

Thought I’d pop this one in…

We have just come back from nearly a week away in the caravan. Gwen has had more walks in this week than in previous months. Now she is not an overly keen walker – if it rains, and the grass is wet, she will avoid at all costs going out. After a while she will expect to be carried (we do not succumb to this!). When we got back home, she decided to crash out while we unloaded the caravan – hence the unladylike pose.

This is a sad one! Gwen had an admirer – we called him “Bob” – who was a lovely little dog, but who wouldn’t go away. We eventually had to have him taken to the pound. Hope he found a good home, he was a lovely little dog.

And this is Carol’s friend’s dog, Holly. A rescue dog that Jan has done brilliant work with.

Although I have up until now added photographs of our little princess (!) Gwen, I think she now merits a spot of her own. So please forgive the drooling, but she is a bit special – and Carol and I are totally mad about her. So I will add thes in no specific order – only as I find them in my disorganised system.
