Although the weather promised to be very unpleasant this weekend – gales and very high winds – we were determined to make the best of it. We visited Westonbirt Arboretum. So, together with Jean & Pete, and half of the population of England, we visited Westonbirt at what is presumably the prime time. I’m sure that the gales the following day did considerable damage to the remaining leaves, so we were lucky to get there at the optimum time. The £8 per head entrance fee was thought to be a bit naughty, but I suppose there must be a considerable upkeep on this place. Still. here are a few photos…
